Call for Participants | Registration Opens for the 6th International Youth Artificial Intelligence Competition!

The International Youth Artificial Intelligence Competition is one of the highest-level and most participated international competitions for young talents in the field of artificial intelligence. It serves as a significant platform for technological innovation and exchange among young people. The competition aims to further ignite the entrepreneurial and creative passion of young students, and to establish a cooperative platform where international youth can collectively address cutting-edge issues in robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as promote the deep integration of technology and cultural arts.

In recent years, the International Youth Artificial Intelligence Competition has consistently appeared in the national university robot competition index, highlighting its importance in the AI event sector.

This year, SoftBank Robotics will continue to offer generous prizes to encourage students to further explore and innovate in the field of robotics technology.

NAO Robot Race Walking Competiton

Each team will have two NAO robots participating in the relay race walking event. The team whose second robot reaches the starting line first will be declared the winner. This event aims to help students apply the NAO robot platform to master and practice a range of knowledge content, including algorithm design, robot communication, machine vision, robot navigation, and more, which covers various disciplines such as computer science, microcontrollers, communications, and mechanical engineering.

NAO Robot Golf Competiton

During the competition, the 1st hole field is a compulsory event, meaning that players must complete the tee-off at the 1st hole field before proceeding to the 2nd or 3rd hole fields, which are optional. A ball entering the 1st hole scores 10 points; the 2nd hole scores 20 points; and the 3rd hole scores 30 points. Teams will be ranked based on the total points scored from successful shots, with the team scoring the highest points declared the winner.

NAO Robot Soccer Competiton

The soccer competition consists of two events, one with a 3V3 format and the other with a 5V5 format, both featuring NAO robots. Each match consists of two halves, each lasting 10 minutes, with the team scoring the most goals declared the winner. Prior to the competition, each NAO robot will have its role set and will be able to collaborate with others to complete the match.

NAO Robot Penalty Kick Competition

During the competition, each challenge requires one active "attacking" robot and one static "defending" robot. The attacking robot must complete as many penalty kicks as possible within a certain number of attempts, with the team scoring the most goals declared the winner. This event aims to encourage teams to develop strategies for offensive penalty kicks and defense.

Pepper

Pepper Intelligent Service Robot Competition

This project requires Pepper robots to complete interactive scenarios of assisting and entertaining the elderly in a specific venue. The aim of this project is to cultivate students' ability to develop applications for service robots in indoor environments, and to deepen their mastery and application of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies such as machine vision, indoor navigation, human-computer interaction, and voice recognition in noisy environments.
