Pepper is doing a great job in the fight against COVID-19! In addition to helping with mask testing, it can also provide services at vaccination centers to help people with anxiety.
The Upata Vaccination Center on the Freudenberg campus in Germany has used Pepper to provide voice-activated zero-contact guidance during vaccination.
Pepper is involved in three major processes at the vaccination center, including welcome, wait for vaccination and post-vaccination observation. Social distancing is important in all of these processes.
The local head of vaccine distribution in Upata said: "Pepper has been a positive experience for our employees. Hundreds of doses of vaccines are administered each day, and the Pepper robot can help deliver repeated messages, which can allow employees to focus on other, more important tasks.
